Deepak I. Shahdadpuri is the Founder and Managing Director of DSG Consumer Partners (“DSGCP”) and has over 15 years of private equity experience. Before DSGCP, Deepak co-founded BCP Advisors, managers to the Beacon India Private Equity Fund (“BIPEF”) with AUM of US$320 million, where Deepak continues to be a Managing Director and has responsibility for management of the BIPEF portfolio. Prior to that, Deepak was Managing Director at consumer focused private equity fund GEM India, a Principal at Reuters Venture Capital and worked with Bain & Company and Ernst & Young in London. Deepak currently serves on the board of Baker’s Circle, Bhayana Builders, Impresario, Exito Gourmet, Indostar Capital Finance, Mswipe Technologies, Remy Sula India, Saffronart, Sula Wines and Veeba Food Services. Deepak is also on the strategic advisory board of Magic Bus India, a non-profit organization helping develop underprivileged children through sports, and on the advisory board of Dawn Capital, a UK focused Venture Capital Fund. Deepak is an active angel investor focusing primarily on investments in the consumer sector. Deepak has an MBA (Distinction) from INSEAD, a LLB (Hons) from King’s College London and a FCA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales.
