Ishan Prakhar
Ishan is part of the investment team at Kae Capital, where he focuses on backing early-stage founders across B2B AI, Frontier & Deeptech, and Consumer Tech. He works closely with founders across sourcing, diligence, strategy, and portfolio support, helping them navigate the journey from early conviction to scale.
An engineer by training, Ishan holds a degree in Materials Science from IIT Kanpur. Before Kae, he worked across venture capital and technology, with experience at Huddle Ventures, Inventus Capital, General Catalyst India, and Sinarmas Technology, where he invested in AI and frontier-tech companies and evaluated VC funds globally.
Ishan is deeply bullish on Indian founders and enjoys being an active partner to ambitious teams, from opening doors and supporting hiring to sharpening strategy. Outside work, he enjoys exploring Vedic astrology, reading, origami, fitness, and chess.
